Ski Pro- The Company Behind the Name
Ski-Pro is the number one performing ski boat on the
planet. Since 1985 we have
held every performance record set in Water Ski
Magazine's boat test. No other ski
boat manufacturer can touch Ski-Pro in any performance
category; be it acceleration,
handling or just good old fashioned fun.
On top of being the best performing ski boat in the
market, Ski Pro boats are now the best built boats on
the planet. Since February of 2004 Ski-Pro boats have
been manufactured by Marine TEC, a growing boat company
located just outside of San Antonio, Texas next to Lake
McQueeney. Marine TEC is committed not only to the
performance of Ski Pro, but also to the quality of each
boat built. Each boat is tested for both quality and
performance by the company's owners and will leave the
factory only after meeting the highest level of
inspections.
Mission statement
Ski Pro Boats will continue to be the summit in
innovation, performance, and quality. We are the exotic
performance machine of the water sports industry.
The people
At the factory outside San Antonio, the hulls are the
realm of Dave Anderson, the Ski Pro owner who grew up as
a three-event skier on nearby Lake McQueeney. Co-Owner
Ezra Luna has been with the company since 1993 and has
been at the forefront of interior design. The fiberglass
specialists have a combined 50 years of experience and
are the best in the business.
Our detail and mold specialists are also second to none.
The in-house artist previously airbrushed motorcycles;
the staff stereo specialist is an audio expert with cars
and home theaters. One top of that, the people building
the boat are also watersport enthusiasts. And since it's
possible to buy direct from the factory, the customer
has the ear of the people actually making their
particular boat.
Who's buying a Ski Pro
People who are tired of the poor low speed handling and
low top speed of the direct drive inboards find that a
Ski Pro is a welcome transition into better water sports
performance, whether wakeboarding, skiing or barefooting.
Ski-Pro boats are more than the sum of their components.
They are the common
thread that brings a diverse range of friends and family
together for tons of fun and
shared memories on the water. We honor our past and are
proud of our achievements.
At the same time Ski-Pro looks forward to a limitless
future

Team Ski Pro
Ski Pro supported the inaugural 2004 Barefoot Endurance
Racing Cup. Team Ski Pro East won the series that year.
Then repeated its performance with a first-place finish
in 2005. Aside from a financial contribution toward the
cash prize, the factory has provided on-site
maintenance, parts and even replacement boats. The year
2006 went just as well, as the team edged the five other
contenders, including the one supported by series title
sponsor BarefootCentral.com. Participants qualified for
factory discounts from Ski Pro.
